Find capabilities
Applications register versioned commands, resources and events without giving Core unrestricted database access.
01 Intelligent · secure · sovereign
Arcanus is a portable business workspace designed to help you view, store and use your data—without making it ours.
02 The premise
More uploads. More accounts. More disconnected subscriptions. More of your business living somewhere you cannot see or control.
Arcanus begins with a different question: what if the technology worked around your ownership?
03 One coherent system
Core decides whether the environment can be trusted. Vault defines the business that appears when it is.
The Linux Mint XFCE-based operating system. It provides the trusted foundation on which Core runs.
The business itself: data, applications, agents, workflows, licences, identity and intellectual property.
04 The physical architecture
The separation is deliberate. Arcanus XFCE provides the operating system. Core runs within it to govern trust, identity and restoration. Arcanum Vault holds the customer's business.
05 Core
Core is the capability-discovery, policy and orchestration runtime running within Arcanus XFCE. It coordinates application-owned capabilities through a stable, governed protocol.
WORKING PRODUCT Local by design
Core discovers commands, resources and events exposed by applications. It applies permissions, risk and confirmation policy before asking the owning application to execute. Conversation history stays local to the machine.
Applications register versioned commands, resources and events without giving Core unrestricted database access.
Permissions, risk levels and confirmation requirements are checked before an operation can proceed.
Core plans and coordinates. The owning application keeps its data, rules, transactions and command execution.
06 Arcanus Platform · Inside Arcanum Vault
Arcanum Vault contains Arcanus Platform and its specialist modules—alongside the customer's documents, databases, software, agents, reports, workflows, licences and business identity.
Stock, customers, orders, content and reporting for data-led sellers—from vehicles and parts to retail and specialist goods.
Clients, jobs, deadlines, documents and communications in one operational view.
Structured casework, evidence, declarations and auditable submission workflows.
A sovereign double-entry foundation that capabilities can share without fragmenting truth.
Core orchestrates capabilities. Applications own their data and execution.
07 Arcanus Portal
Portal is the focused gateway into the Arcanus environment. It works with Arcanus XFCE and Core to verify the person, present the state of trust and restore the customer-owned Vault.
08 The Arcanus principles
We are responsible for the operating foundation, orchestration layer, trust model and governed execution environment.
The data, software, history, relationships and intellectual property remain the customer's business.
Core verifies where and how the Vault can run without collapsing the ownership boundary.
Lose a laptop and the business is not lost with it. Replace the environment, connect the Vault and continue.
09 The essentials
No. Arcanus is being designed around user ownership and flexible deployment. Some services may process data where a capability requires it, but the architecture aims to avoid unnecessary possession and lock-in.
They are two separate products. The first runs Arcanus XFCE and Core: the operating foundation and governed orchestration layer. Arcanum Vault is the customer-owned business workspace containing Platform and its modules.
The computer is not the business. On a replacement environment, Arcanus XFCE can start, Core can establish trust and the authorised Arcanum Vault can restore the business to where it was left.
Arcanus is aimed at data-led organisations: businesses where structured information, repeatable workflow, evidence and reporting are central to how value is created.
10 Early access
Arcanus is being built with a small group of early organisations. Tell us how your business works and where ownership matters most.
